Jack Christenson Realtors & Troy School District offer landmark partnership
Residents all over the Metropolitan Detroit area are going to be invited to Live and Learn In Troy through a unique partnership of the city, school district and a local realtor agency.

 

The Troy School District, City of Troy, and Jack Christenson Realtors are combining efforts for an unprecedented marketing program that promotes the Troy community and its benefits for families.

The partnership represents the first of its kind in promoting the strengths of a local community by realtors,
a school district, and city.

Live and Learn in Troy will feature advertisements and a community open house to promote the Troy community.
Some of the aspects of Troy that will be promoted include:

• A comprehensive parks and recreation program, which recently earned the designation as Michigan’s #1 Sports City by Sports Illustrated.


• The services provided by the Troy Public Library, which was recently named the best in Michigan.


• The high level of student achievement in the Troy School District, including Oakland County’s best composite MEAP scores and all of its schools accredited by the North Central Association.


• Troy’s ranking as the safest city for its size in the United States

“The Troy School District is nationally recognized for excellence in education”, Superintendent Janet Jopke said. “By any measure, our students perform at an extremely high level. We think it is important that parents who are making relocation decisions know the outstanding services provided by the district and the city of Troy.”

Live and Learn in Troy will feature radio, newspaper and television advertising beginning in late February and early March.

The program will also include a Live and Learn in Troy open house on Sunday, March 13, at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois (just north of Big Beaver).

The event will be from noon to 3 p.m., will allow those interested in moving to the City of Troy to learn about its schools, parks, and services for families and will include a booth provided by Jack Christenson Realtors for any real estate inquiries.
